Big Boss got kind of weird when he got older. See: Metal Gear 2.This seems to happen to this family a lot. Technically Meryl would probably be too young to match up with Snake as a teen BUT GOD KNOWS THIS SERIES PAYS A GREAT DEAL OF ATTENTION TO CANON
i think this is the only time she shows up, come to think of it
I originally drew this in like 2006, but MGS4 changed my opinion on Meryl so much that I had to rewrite/redraw this completely. This version is like 1000x better than the original, trust me.
I was planning to have Big Boss going "I'M THINKING OF HAVING A BLIND GUY GUARD MY ELECTRIC FENCE" in the third to last panel but I liked his blank stare too much so I cut that.

Why DID Big Boss invest in Poisinus hamsters in a locker blocking a game carterage (which is retarded cause he NEEDS that game carterage) and mannequins to hide guards in them. The sand i understand because when someone walks on it (except the guards for some reason) they reveal thier position.
