Kristoph thought they were fighting as rivals, and that Klavier would be upset about loosing, but Klavier is thrilled that they found out the truth together and Kristoph realizes he's actually proud of Klavier.

Well he has already destroyed Phoenix's carrer at this point (since the frist trial of Klavier was against Nick)
But yeah he could have corrected all at this moment....

Oh god, even though I know nothing about the Ace Attorney series, this hit me straight in the feels. I can kind of relate to Kristoph here: this happens to me at times, and it is so depressing when I do realize it.Β

Well, I know this comment is old and all but if you're still confused:
Kristoph Gavin is an amoral defense attorney and he forged evidence to be used in a trial, but when the defendant demanded a new attorney (for reasons I cant remember), he passed on the forged evidence, trough the defendants daughter, onto the new attorney: Phoenix Wright. When Phoenix finally presented the forged piece of evidence, Klavier Gavin, a prosecutor, knew because his brother (Kristoph) had tipped him off. This lead to Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney, to be stripped of his attorney's badge. The defendant disappeared, leaving his daughter alone (and adopted by Phoenix).
Time passes and Kristoph ends up killing at least two people.

The defendant uses cards to choose the attorney because of how they act, Kristoph thought the reason he was rejected was because of the game, when it really was just his way of 'winning'

Yup, I learned all that. But why is he so upset here? He technically hasn't done anything wrong yet, has he?

If you're talking about Kristoph's expression in the last panel, it's because he finally realized that he had never had a good relationship with his little brother.

*snnnrk* I don't think he ever really cared. Klavier would be the one who cared. Eh, minor thing. It's still awesome.

I guess he was planning on it or something? i dunno, can't remember where he got the scar, or if it was even mentioned in the game, but it might be important I think?
