Description This is my idea of what the Kalos League could look like in hypothetical game where you can choose to challenge the Gyms in any order. Based on the player's number of badges, Gym Leaders will use different Pokémon and have special rules.

The use of items will not be possible for both player and enemy, and the player cannot use more Pokémon than the Gym Leader.

Also, the player at the start of the game can choose 3 modes:
*Free mode (where every Pokémon of this gen + all the past gens will be avaible somehow + some others, the player can play as much free he can and the game will not consider the lore at all)
*Canon mode (where the player will play with the canon protagonist, cannot choose his name or his starter and only the Legendaries the protagonists canonically catched would be avaible)
*Specialist mode (the player will choose the type he want to specialize (Dark and Steel will not be avaible in gen 1 for lore reason, and Fairy will only be avaible starting from gen 6) and the starter will depend on the type choosen, but all Pokémon that aren't of the choosen type or don't make sense for that type, will not be avaible. For exemple, if I choose Ghost, I can catch Mankey because will evolve into a Ghost-type, but I can only catch female Snorunt, while the male ones will escape ANY Ball at 100%, also, Snorunt cannot evolve into Glalie in this mode if I choose Ghost-type. But will be avaible to evolve Pokémon that have a pre-evolution of his type, so if someone choose Bug-type then can evolve Skorupi, because Skorupi is already Bug-type)

Gym Leaders will be limited to using only species belonging to the local regional Pokédex, regional forms are available for species belonging to that region (exemple: Alolan Golem can be used at Kanto, because Golem is present on Kanto's dex)

Unlike Gym Leaders, Elite Four and Champion can use Pokémon from any region and can use gimmicks, but not necessarily with the Ace, moreover, in the League it will be possible to use Gigantamax if the Pokémon has of the Gigantamax factor (however it is not possible to use the Dynamax) thanks to the help of Gigantamax projectors that transfer Galar particles directly from its region of origin.

Once the Champion is defeated, the player effectively becomes the new Champion, and every time he goes to the League and the Champion room, he will be received by a random opponent among all the characters of the region (except for the villains and obviously the player), which, however, will have a team that can include Pokémon from any region and they can use gimmicks based on their prominent Pokémon (click to see the artwork of the characters with their full team (NOTE: Korrina would not use Marshadow for chronological reasons))

In this hypothetical game, the Legendaries cannot be put on the normal team, however they can be "stacked" to one of the Pokémon on the team. Whenever you face against wild Pokémon or trainers who own Legendaries, the game automatically replaces the stacked Pokémon with the reletive Legendary for that battle.

-GIMMICK-
*Malva-Mega Evolution (Houndoom)
*Siebold-Mega Evolution (Slowbro)
*Wikstrom-Mega Evolution (Scizor)
*Drasna-Mega Evolution (Altaria)
*Diantha-Mega Evolution (Gardevoir)

NEW POST GAME QUEST: After completing the game, will be unlocked a post-game quest, with Hilda that turn around Diancie. After completed it, Hilda will be added to the roster of possible challengers of the League.
