I just love how detailed armors and other pieces of clothing are in all your works. This series has made me notice just how much work and thought goes into these outfits: all the little things that can be found on both ride and mount, and those certainly help establishing the identity of a character.
Speaking of the mount, though, a white-backed vulture is a nice choice for a flying mount.
Are the dragons portrayed in this series representing each a different region, or something? Because their species come from different environments.

The dragons represent a region (the coast, the river lands, the mountains, etc) or a concept (The night, the moon, the storm, etc)
I try to take them from similar environments but sometimes I make mistakes and sometimes I choose to pay no mind to it because our countries don't exist in this fictional world.
For this one I thought I managed to get two who lived close to each other but I may have been mistaken!

I like all the detail you put into armor and items like swords, helmets and such (well, everything, I guess). ItΒ enriches the fictional world and does wonders for the atmosphere.

Β I'm impressed by the fact that the mount in this piece looks like a battle-hardened old jaundice of a companion (compared to that hint of swashbuckling innocence in the rider), but must admit to amusing myself by speculating on whether it genuinely cannot speak or simply disdains conversation with the rest of Creation out of sheer cussedness!Β
