Description Euoplocephalus was heavily armored on the upper part of its body, from the nose to the tail, with bony plates and rows of horny spikes. Its snout ended in a beak, and its tail had a bony club on the end. It was vulnerable only on its soft underbelly. Like the other armored dinosaurs, it ate plants and walked on four stout legs. Its fossils have been found at several North American sites.
