Supermans got this. He could hit thor with his own hammer. Its not even a question that Superman is worthy.

Well, it depends. Superman has no special resistance to magic and Thor's hammer is one of the most powerful magical weapons in the Marvel Universe. Thor would cause great loads of damage on Superman if he hits him. But that is a BIG "if". Against a beserk Superman, he has little chance. With raw power on one side and magic might on the other, the fight would go either way. My guess is they'll get bored, have a laugh, shake hands and become drinking buddies.

Well, Superman defeated him during the Justice League/Avengers Crossover, so you're kinda right but I said it because Thor's strenght feats are greater (their speed/durability are almost equal thought)

Also depends on which version of the character. Silver age Superman could push planets around, the all star and new52 versions also have him performing incredible feats of strength. I'm pretty sure that Superman has always been faster, but Thor does have a strong connection to magic, and enough lightning can hurt Supes. One thing's for sure... It would be a pretty good fight. I'll always back Superman because he is my favorite character.

I always wondered, what New 52 Superman strenght feats are, do you know?

I seem to recall that they reused an idea from all star, where he is hooked up to equipment that can simulate the weight of the earth and increase it sever hundred times. He held that up for quite some time. That's the one that comes to mind as a feat of strength (physical strength anyway.) I'm sure there are others, but they aren't stand alone events, just stuff he does while being Superman. It's hard to get a comparison against any villains either, because most of them got a major increase in power with the new 52.
