"Not wanting to disturb the little chatting group of bats inside, considering how skittish the one below had been, Pinstripe opted to meander out on the balcony just to the right of the door. The wooden structure overhung the cliff they’d just climbed. When he reached the edge, Pinstripe whistled, impressed. That was one heck of a view. This part of the cliff, unlike the zig-zaggy path they’d come up, was a sheer drop, letting him see the whole valley spread out below."
