“Well yeah, sometimes. It ain’t that big a deal, Briar.” Pinstripe found himself nervously running his fingers through his hair. He knew, at least he was pretty sure, she wasn’t angry at him. But angry Briar was not the face he wanted to see right now. “Mob life, it’s rough like dat. Sometimes it just happened on da job too.” He tried to explain.
“But...” She seized his tail in both paws now and was gently caressing it and didn’t that feel strange. It wasn’t erotic. It kind of felt like when she’d snuggle his arm or run her fingers through his fur on the rare occasion he wore short-sleeves. What was he supposed to do?
