you know, to be honest... I'm not sure! I just like the "new" prince of persia games's art, but I've only played and enjoyed the original games, POP 1 and 2 for pc and snes.

Love the perspective and the textures! The pose is really nice too, gives you a great sense of motion. The sword looks a little too much like a katana though from this render. Still good! Love the design!

yeah the sword must be my mistake, since I don't play the POP games I only looked at concept art and it looked similar to a katana to me ^^U

Yeah, the best thing to do, is look up persian/middle eastern period weapons. Swords they used where called Shamshir. Its essentially like a saber but without a looping gaurd, meaning it doesn't extend from the guard hilt, to the pommel(tip of handle). Use that in google images and you'll get the idea.
Still doesn't mean it ain't good. Just something I noticed, since research on asthetic detail like that is what I look at a lot. Just how I am.
