The water drop appears to be out of focus which is unfortunate. Your ISO was also set a little too high, resulting in excess noise in the background...
I hope you get a chance to re-shoot this shot because, if done again paying attention to the focus, I'm certain this would be a fantastic macro

Its very easy. There should be a button with a +/- on it. Press it and turn your thumb wheel in one direction to make the image brighter, and in the other to make it darker. Only works in all modes (eg P/Tv) except Auto mode. Try it out.
