Man I wish this series was treated with care so the forth game was good and we got that fifth one already. (Hopefully also good).
As it stands right now the series is probably done for.

Unfortunately, yeah. I'm really satisfied with all the games we got, but the style and gameplay would lend itself so well to a next gen console. Maybe now that they've remastered the classic-classics, like Crash and Spyro, they'll think about remastering the later classics, like Jak and Sly. Heck - Ratchet already got his remake. :T

True but last I heard the ratchet remake had alot of cut corners and they forced a movie you had to watch to get it.
Large animation bugs, cutscenes with no logic behind them etc.
I just wish the old sucker punch would come back and make this and the Infamous series the time it deserves.

Oh, for sure - as you say - Sly has just certainly earned some revitalization-love too. I don't imagine Sucker Punch will go from Ghost of Tsushima straight back to Sly, as nice as that would be. But I feel like I've seen various indie developers capture similar style and quality to Sly, so there's sure to be team is out there that could do it justice.

Yeah yeah! That's so awesome. With the various animated shorts the games have done, I always thought a show would be perfect little escapades. I won't get my hopes too high yet, but I'm stoked to see what they do.

Sly 3, I think. It feels like with each game, Sucker Punch understood more and more what makes the Sly games fun. Thieves in Time also seemed to be made with a lot of passion and had a lot of things I wanted from a fourth game. But for me, it just didn't quite have the same charm as the original trilogy. How about you?
