Oh sweet. That's something I often keep in mind - for my fan art pieces to tell an interesting story even without context. Though Nintendo really took care of that for this piece, since their characters have such evocative designs.

Aha - interesting idea. Yeah, he might just be my absolute favorite Zelda. But in a way, I think it's because he's such a mystery. The way he shows up in Twilight Princess out of nowhere just makes him feel even more scary and powerful. So, I'm pretty content with what we've gotten so far. 'u'

Ocarina-Of-Time Ganondorf is my personal favorite one! Because even though he has all the clichΓ© bad guy dialogs, there is a good building up to him as the final boss. Also, I'm in love with the fact that he was raised/taught by the witch twins, which are some of my top favorite characters in the whole game. And I love the Gerudos in general.
The manga gives him more bonus stories too. For example, Zelda did not only disguise as Sheik, but actually worked for Ganondorf as a spy and assassin too. So just for shits and giggles, when I played Smash, I let Ganondorf and Sheik fight against each other and pretend it's part of the story when Sheik starts showing his/her true side. xD
I LOVE how you drew Ganondorf's grin here! And how his eyes are hidden in the shadows like this. It makes his devious smile more effective. Also it's cool how you only made that door partly open, only showing Link's legs and tip of his sword; that's already enough to recognize that it's him. The tension in this image is great.
OHHH, and I just noticed trapped Zelda reflecting in Ganondorf's head jewelry! Excellent attention to detail! *.*

I loved Sheik's idea so much, it's the perfect hideout plan! Being a sheika (if a fake one), he/she explained it to Ganondorf like "We are the shadow folk. We need a master so we can be someone's shadow." and that the sheika are in search of a new master after the royal family betrayed them (which is why a tear was added to their eye symbol). Boom, Ganondorf has a sheika servant. And he has no clue that it's Zelda because he's searching everywhere else but in front of his eyes, haha.

I'm currently reading the Twilight Princess mangas, and it's amaaaaazing. My favorite Zelda manga so far. Because it's so dark and awesome with its extra bonus stories and details about the characters.
