Okay, I admit it, I've loved a lot of your works in this series but this was the first one that had me snickering for half a minute straight.Β Yeah, it's silly but danged if on some level it doesn't actually work.
Love the cat ears headband by the way, nice little touch for the rest of the cheshire themed outfit.Β Is it on purpose or accidental that in this situation it's more or less his grin that's the first thing that's disappeared?

In answer to your question, I love that idea - but it was absolute happenstance - haha! Naturally I was utilizing the grin as the Cheshire Cat's most iconic feature, but I didn't make the connection at all that it's usually the last thing to disappear. Totally taking credit for that in future.

I have an interesting story. I was commissioned to design a few characters and some manga panels, and for the main female character, the description said to have her wearing a body suit, like Cat Woman, and tall knee-high boots. I showed my Mom because she wanted to see it. It was only an inked outline, I was going to shade it in photoshop. Mom saw the finished outlined picture and flipped out like "What is your character wearing?! She looks half naked! And what is with the hooker boots, is she one of those BDSM whore like in all of that 50 Shades of Grey smut?!"Β
To my Mom, tall leather boots equals prostitute.

It's not just that, any character with tall black boots she attacks right away regardless of the outfit. Even when I go shopping and I see some cool knee high boots on sale, she says "Honey, that's what sluts wear. Why do you wanna dress like a New York hooker?!"
