Bough was barely paying attention as the cranny landlord rambled on. He was finally feeling stable enough to return to his cranny room, only to find his few belongings in a cardboard box- someone had broken his glasses, too- wonder who that was.
"Barely done any chores, not to mention you helped with that blasted party-"
It was rather hard to hear Reed, given Cheeto was trying to rebut every point the biped made- with furious beeb screeching.
"... I'm sorry, mr..." Reed paused, trying to remember Bough's last name.
"Bough. I mean, I'm just Bough. No surname." The quad muttered.
Reed's look said it all. Only degenerates like me have no last name, Bough thought.
"I'm sorry, Bough, but this type of behaviour is unacceptable. You are going to have to look for other accommodation." Reed replied, obviously growing tired of him.
Bough sat, looking like a kicked baby boo. Chii'falla, did he want to yell at this man. He wanted to grow claws and slash Reed's greasy skin. He wanted to grow huge and bite his head right off. But Bough was a bit smarter than that. He took his belongings and turned to the exit, his fuzzy tail flicking up dust and dirt as he left. Now to break it to Dr. F.

Cheeto couldn't stand the way his owner was being treated. He wanted revenge, and he knew exactly how to go about it...
