People have different vocabulary, because of their nation's culture. Some aren't documented. Β Maybe that's why you say so. I may look pretentious, but I actually am just being my normal old self. Even wording is different in culture. In some nations they say "'Tis very cool to have snow all year" and other nations "Its so awesome to have winter (not snow, people interpret things differently) all year!".Β

No one cares about the inner machinations of your mind. How you present yourself is how they see you. No one can read your mind and expecting people to see you immediately as you see yourself isn't just unrealistic and pretentious, it's outright stupid.
You're viewing yourself as some kind of intelligent, cultured individual, yet based on how you've presented yourself I only see you as a pretentious asshole who's fallen under the fallacy of self-proclaimed expert--that being, you think you're an expert in something you have no knowledge of, and you're so bad at it that you can't even recognize how weak you are at it.
Likewise you probably view me as an asshole and rude atm. However that's okay because I'm actually TRYING to be an asshole and I'm intentionally being rude, trying to take you down a notch and get my point across.
Get your intentions consistent with your results. If people misunderstand your presentation you have no one to blame but yourself.

I'm sorry offending you. After some thought, Β was a bit loose Β and careless on how I word and say about you. The question taht got me in this mess in the first place was rhetorical in the first place, so it wasn't necessary. But, I disagree on how people always have to present themselves and not worry about the inner self. But, it's important to know about yourself before you even say hi to a new person. Becuase, it's lying to be a hipster but that's not who you wanna be, but you still act for others to like you. If I've misinterpreted your message, please let me know

Communication is about ensuring that the receiving party understands you as you understand yourself. If you can't express yourself clearly and well, people are going to have to go off of assumptions of what it is you're saying, and often that'll get negative results.
There are sometimes issues with people who are just bad at reading others, but often the issue lies within a failure to keep your argument and self-reflection consistent.
Like if I believed in my heart that I was being patient and respectful, yet I was calling someone an asshole and quickly losing my temper, then I have a personal disconnect. That is hubris. Hence why, in our engagement, I said up front that I'm being a blunt ass, and explained why I was doing so. It's a matter of looking at things objectively, and reading what you type as if you were a third, unaffiliated party.
Likewise, if you say you're not trying to shame someone, but your words are very obviously shaming of them, then you have a personal disconnect, and again that is hubris.
The only thing personal reflection affects is YOUR interpretation of a situation. You have no jurisdiction over other peoples' perspectives, and your arguments need to reflect that. It is impossible for someone else to see you exactly how you see yourself--hence why I said no one can read your mind. The best you can do is try to keep your outward presentation consistent with your personal interpretation.
