I prefer this capture over the other similar one, mainly because of the way you've framed it, with the main subject matter taking up most of the frame, whereas with the other, it feels like half and half which isn't as effective for me.
The increase in saturation boosts the impact a bit more as well, and I find the square format quite interesting too, especially with the balance and the overall feel of it, although it's not exactly square, so...
Not bad, either way.
