Description This picture is came about really weirdly, my sister and I were playing with makeup. Then I gave her a big bruise and an idea formed!

This picture isn't to say anything bad about Islam.
I love being muslim! But since when I wear the scarf, people ALWAYS assume I'm forced to wear it, and it's ridiculous. I'm not forced. I WEAR IT BECAUSE I CHOOSE TO!

It all depends on who you are as a person.
Some people DO force their daughters to wear it, and honestly I think that's dumb.
Yeah, I said it. Forcing your daughter is wrong. And this is what forced looks like. If you see a girl with bruises and cuts, and she doesn't look like she enjoys the scarf. Then that's forced. And homie, you'd better call child protective services or something.

I'm happy. I'm not forced.

MODEL: My sister.

Haha no it's when...You know when you ask a girl, "Why do you wear the scarf?"
And she says, "Oh my parents forced me."

And it irritates me to no end, cause unless you are covered in bruises or in blood then there is no way that your parents are "forcing" you. There are a ton of ways you can rephrase that sentence instead of saying They FORCED me to wear it.

Those girls are the reason that all those European countries want the no hijab rule in schools and stuff. Because they think the men in their family 'force' them to wear it.

So yeah, that's what this picture is about haha. Your parents are not forcing you. Unless you are covered in blood or in bruises then you are choosing to respect your parents. But they aren't 'forcing' you. It's so confusing to explain though. Haha I really think I should remove this picture. :/

salam alaykum
youΒ΄re totally right with what you say about being orced.

but..
please donΒ΄t take me wrong.. i think you sould put a short summary of what you say in the description on the picture.. becouse people who think, most girls are forced to wear the hijab, could use your picture for their profit...

Actually I thought of that, I'm thinking of just removing the picture really.
Because when my friends saw it, no one understood the concept unless I explained it. And that kind of sucks.

I know, even though I'm christian, I know it's a person's choice if they want to wear the scarf.

up until a year ago, i honestly thought EVERY girl that wore it was forced, because all my friends that wore it were forced.

but then i moved countries and saw a bunch of girls who WANTED to wear it, and I got so used to the idea.
Thanks for the comment, btw

To me, it's okay if they want to wear it, but they shouldn't be forced. I had to wear a head scarf in school for a taste of the world one time. I was in asia minor.
