Description
Requested by thebeast76. He asked me to do up his fursona as a robian.I based it off of his current Icon and used his previous request as a base, I hope ya like it ^^

Could you do my character, Funnel? He would go great as a villian in your SatAM Season 3 fic, because he betrays the freedom fighters in the SatAM verse after The Doomsday Project.

Guess the fox is one of the more popular "fursonas" as you put it - I made mine yesterday and he's a fox. I guess they're cooler than hedgehogs. Also, this robian form...amazing. My robots always look so generic. Also, I love that guy's grin!

Yeh, actually looks like he chose to be Roboticized.
It looks better then the Robian design from SatAM, but I guess considering SatAM is quite old, it's understandable.

Seriously, if Chuck had continued to work on his invention and work out the bug that stripped freedom of will, (or wrapped their will in other versions) then his invention would have had a much different impact on mobian civilization.
Heh, and robians would likely be seen as mobians who "had chosen a different lifestyle" as the politically correct phrase goes, and not people who were prisoners of their own bodies or '
Of course then we get into the debate on weather society can handle immortal citizens and just how much more of a life span do robian have.
Charles Hedgehog was foolish to just throw his invention away, the Bem I think show that the robotocization process in the Sonic-verse is a scientific inevitability, and just 'quietly putting the lid back on and pretending you didn't find anything' as Terry Pratchet erroneously suggested once, never works out cause it just means someone ELSE is going to invent it.

Oh, you know, I almost believe that it could have been Uncle Chuck who went mad, pushing himself over the edge trying to perfect his machine. If it didn't work, he might switch to more drastic measures, like somehow placing Mobian minds inside bodies like these things: [link]
If all goes well and it does become a viable option, I have no doubt that Robians would be accepted as people, and not just victims or monsters. As for immortality and such, I'll leave that question to the philosophers.

You're quite welcome. My complete remake of Blood and Metal still has Robians (and a renamed version of a Roboticizer, although 'Robians' as a term isn't Copyrighted Material, I think.) and they would usually be seen like that, although sometimes they would have body kits that can be snapped on for customization. (Some of them even have an appearance of Metallic clothes.)

hmmm I always though the term "robian" was trademarked by the archie comics, though I could be wrong. As for some robians that look like they are wearing metallic clothes,(like my Metal Sally design) the basic idea would be that since the robotizer mechanizes any organic martial I figure that would include clothing as most fabrics come from organic elements such as cotton, wool, leather etc. But then again they never really explained the science behind it in either the cartoons or the comics

I haven't been seeing Archie comics for quite some time, but I've seen the term used more in Fanfiction than anything else. That's why I'm asking this.
To me, I find it rather silly to think that the Roboticizer, a device that can be a staple in many Science Fiction Stories, to be exclusively the intellectual property of Sega or Archie. I mean, there's TONS of stories where people are turned into Robots OUTSIDE of the Sonic Universe. What Robotnik was doing ISN'T unique.
I might need to write an essay into it, especially as it pertains to my all-original rewrite.
