Description This is a comic I made for Divinity: Original Sins 2. The epilogue of the game is considered to be one of the game weakest points especially with the way your romance is treated. The biggest offender of this is The Red Prince so loaded with salt, I decided to continue where the epilogue dialogue cuts off using my vast knowledge of girl dating sim game that I shouldn't have.

So just curious here but is your character in here male or female?  I apologize for asking but it's hard to tell (I'm looking at it on my iPhone which makes me have to strain my eyes).

Male. It's fine, I get that a lot since I like to draw males pretty.

this game possess multiple endings but if they decide to make a sequel they will probably choose one ending as canon, which one do think that would be?

Considering how I hear they retcon bunch of stuff to keep Lucian around, it will probably be the one where you sacrifice your source.

And the only companion that really matters is the Crimson Douche because the setting needs dragons to be around again.

maybe in one of those retcons they will add a playable avian race, it will be kinda difficult if they can fly but if they cannot fly it will be simpler, who knows?
hm now thinking about it a sequel to the campaign does not need to be a new game, maybe some kind of dlc/expansion, things like that were done before in games like neverwinter nights 2.

I doubt it. The game doesn't even have a playable wolf and the werewolf we see is an abomination.

The lizard race will probably be the only anthro race they're bagging on since it's also easy to link them to the Dragon Knights. That and features like flights are not that amazing with everyone having the ability to grow wings on demand if they dip into the art of metamorph.

natural flight could still be useful if it doesnt share cooldown with the flight from polymorph(four winged bird!) that could be a nice choice if someone wants an extra teleport instead of the other racial skills, i think the problem with anthro wolves is that in fantasy settings they are associated with lycanthropy which is usually some kind of curse(or a race of humans that turn into wolves), avians dont really need to be able to fly there are games with flightless anthro avians that players want to be playable(ex: tengu from gw2), the problem i see in add new races is that it would require some extra work in the interactions(ex: some dialogues) in the game.

He stops at the "I will take that as a no. Next time, use your word" and if you talk to him again, he just give you generic "if you say no" reply.

I'm still salty about his romance epilogue :C

I guess the devs can't think of everything, but it doesn't matter who you romance because in the end you always go your own way, very dumb in my opinion.

I read the one about sebille and the epilogue narration go "LOLNOPE".

I wish they patch it. Not really something hard to fix and really should be fixed because it's a really weak and disappointing way to end a good game.

You can always hand over divinity to the red Prince I found this out through some sources on YouTube basically when you're at the Academy or before you enter the academy tell the red Prince that you will help him no matter what to become a god and when you beat the last boss I believe you will get a fourth option or a different option try that because I have seen the ending where he actually does become a Divine and it's much much better see if it works.

That might actually give me a reason to replay the game then. I'll try it out when I have time.

There may be something else you have to do as well not really sure you will probably have to just do some research and a little fiddling to figure it out good luck.

That really bothers you doesn't it? I love him to much he's such a great character that in itself makes me want to keep playing, even some of the other characters like fane are interesting but the red prince is above all in my opinion. It would be cool if you did a sexy art peace of him lol! I also love to piss him off too makes me laugh every time.

I only got into Divinity OS2 during EA because a friend told me that the game has lizard playables. I didn't care much about the companions at that time (cause EA has nothing much going for them) and just wanted to build an empire of lizard. The only companion scene I remember from EA is the one in Fort Joy where the Red prince has his line to shout at the guy building a coffin and be like "You dare hurt lizard master race, you die!" and I was like "Heck yeah lizard master race!" (it's also why I always kill Sebille.)

The problem is that the gameplay isn't exactly a 10/10 material, a 6 or 7/10 at best because of all the flaws it has from oversimplifying things so my interest doesn't last long with "Lizards" being the only reason to keep me going.

When Official rolls in, the companions finally have characters and become a lot more interesting to have around.

I had Ifan, Fane and Prince in my team. Fane and Red Prince were a "Must-have" for me with Ifan being there because I had him on EA and he went through a massive change in character so I was finally interested in what he had to offer.

Red prince is the best character. He's enjoyable to have around and talk to. He's a smugish sazzy ignorant Red prince with a lot of room for development. The whole "Holier-than-thou" is more often just a facade and he drops it real fast after he gets to know you. You can mess with him and he will get all "I'm disappointed in you but it's okay, you are my disappointment and I will take care of that." which is really cute. Most of the time, I don't even know if the dialogue option will please him or not which makes it even better when I reload the convo save and see that none of them even boost his attitude toward me. His romance route also involves conflict and it's just him asking for or accepting the D like the other chars. He feels like a real character to have around.

Fane starts off great but becomes kinda boring to have around after Act 2 in the black pit mine. He goes from a character trying to explore, see the world and have fun to a "MY PEOPLE, MY HOME, MY FAMILY" 99% of time and that's all he says. His conflict is tied to the main story which is mediocre so it brings his character down with it especially when Dallis is involved who is just a terribly written mary sue villain who always succeed until the final fight. If only they make it so that the Eternal are actually just another race that gets wiped by the Voidwoken with the help from Dallis and change the lore to work with that, it will be a lot more interesting than to see him sulk all the time with a conflict that I am never involved in outside pressing the persuasion button so he doesn't leave.

And Ifan is sooooo boring after Act 1 is over. He always repeat the same thing while constantly reminding me he wants the D. I will also never relate to his story because I hate elves to begin with.

By Act 2, my only reason to keep playing was to "Get it with Red Prince" because I was getting bored with the gameplay, Fane and Ifan. You know how that ends.

Really needs a mod or something to light my fire again :V

You just have to be thankful for what you do have it's not like he wasn't a romance option at all. But I do understand how you feel.
