Description It has been ages since I last show or make an art guide so here's a quick one. Don't forget to use the full view if the gif doesn't work.

1st stage: Sketch. Every picture starts with a sketch.

2nd stage: 1st Lineart. There are still some mistakes here and there. Poses often gets slightly fixed from the sketch for better composition. When that happens, I resketch that portion of the pose on another layer before continuing with the lineart..

3rd stage: 1st Lineart cleaning. Now that I have the area filled, I use this to scout if there are any excess area created from the poor lineart being filled when I used the magic wand + paint bucket. Grab the eraser + brush and start sharpening the piece while also fixing any issues. I usually work on the background after that. [Removed in the sketch commish]

4th stage : Shadow overlay on another layer. If the background is already complete, it becomes easier to decide the focal point that should be bright and how the environment lighting affect the character to make them blend in with the setting.

5th stage: Color overlay under the shadow layer. I avoid using black and white as they rarely blend with the background and that shadow overlay barely work on them.

6th stage: Color and Lineart cleaning. Another cleaning to get to sharpen the color and clean the area that are not shaded properly. [Removed in the sketch commish]

Final stage: Final touch. Adjusting color, lighting and focal point loosely with fore objects to give depths, color dodge to make a certain portion stand out more and dodge/burn tool. [Removed in the sketch commish]
