Himura Kenshin, from Rurouni Kenshin. Kawaii Samurai in the sun. My first time playing with photoshop coloring using the Gradient tool... o.O Started off as practice, decided to put it up. ^~^;This is fanart.

I could not draw his blade very well, at that angle,
I actually wasn't planning on putting it up, I was just glad with how it looked, and at the end, I decided to put it up. ^~^;

We will see. ^~^ These are all just cartoony pics, practice, sketches, and my noobtastic attempts at real art. This is all just fanart. Before I get done drawing, I hope to draw photorealistically, I hope to do anime and cartoon fanart that the creators of the animes and cartoons, themselves, would like to see. I am just getting started. ^~^

Believe it or not, the creators love seeing fanart- on the Nintendo Direct Mr. Iwata and Mr. Miyamoto said that they have been observing miiverse and actually were quite impressed about the amount of talent and compassion people have for their creations- and how much they appreciate it^^

Busy busy, but not over the top busy- because you will fall into a block- that has happened to me countless times and being in a block equals being depressed and we don't want that- so keep it moderate and you'' do fine^^

Oh yeah, I am drawing, walking, working out, practicing guitar, practicing swordsmanship, and watching anime, so It's not just drawing all the time. ^~^

Buahah. I can understand. It needs a lot of work. I just popped colors on there as I practiced the gradient tool and the blur tool, so without using anything else, I suppose it's not that bad. ^~^
I wasn't hoping to make anything worthy of putting up on da, I was just practicing in my own time.

And having practiced with gradients only half a day... I will happily practice more, and get even better. ^^ Sometimes, all it takes is the right attitude to let people know how you feel.
