My half of an art trade with DoubleDandE ! This is his OC Blaine, who was fun to work on. It made me miss coloring my old guy characters that are decked out in armor and stuff, maybe I'll finally return to it one day. Tried to make this look more like comic art - what do you think? I need to work on different stuff like this so any feedback is welcomed.Here is their half:

The thing about this that grabs me the most is the shading. It looks super cool and it's different, with it being a little more scratchy and broken up. It gives it a little more flavor and dimension. The position is nicely done, makes me miss seeing the more epic stuff haha

Thanks! I'm glad you noticed that, the shading was the funnest part with this one. It was making me really want to do one of my own armored dudes like I mentioned.

Lanix is a good pick, could maybe draw him or Rob. I think Rob is my favorite design in terms of epic stuff.

Yeah, cloth can be hard at times to draw. Especially color.Β
