I'll answer this one by one.

Yes, I did work on this by using sai

the colors are pretty simple. You can either get them from the temporary application for your teams or you can make it by messing around with the HSV slider and the color wheel. (It's dark orange-ish red pretty close to brown).

For the brushes, I bet it's better for you if you experiment with all the stuff. 

I can tell you what the settings on the brushes do though.

First make an extra brush by right clicking and choosing brush.

On the bottom, you'll see the blending, dilution and persistence sliders.

blending makes it so that it would blend with another color. The greater the value the more it will blend colors.

Dilution is the amount of water you have in the brush. The greater the value, the harder it will be to obtain the color you want to brush (you're going to brush more strokes at the same place in order to get the color you want).

Finally for persistence, that's the amount of smudging your colors does. The higher the value, the more the colors will go all over the place. You're going to have to experiment on this one.

For the texture

it's one of the flat brushes. You're going to have to experiment on this one, because of some artist's secrets and well, it's better for you to learn by yourself .

Sai is an easy tool to use, even by using a mouse, so don't worry.
