The Dragon of the West glanced at his new friends, Master Pakku and Jeong Jeong. They were excellent benders, but Iroh still thought they needed to lighten up. Apparently Bumi felt the same way.

“They do enough, don’t ’cha think? Its music night – let them relax.”

He motioned with an earth-stained hand to the scene in front of them; The Avatar and the earthbender, swaying to and fro in the firelight. She tried to hide it in her long bangs, but the group of elders knew a blush coated the young girl’s cheeks.

“They are children,” Iroh continued, “And for as long as they possibly can – let them stay children.”
