Annnnd! *Nuh-nuh Naaa!* Here's the colored version of my birthday present for . I hope I managed to finish it in time for him to see! Happy Birthday!I really like how this one came out. I was trying to work on a scenic background, but for some reason that never works out well for me. Instead, I went for a neat pattern in the tones that I have and spruced it up with some color. I guess I need to find someone who can do BGs to collab with me!

I'm glad you like it! She's got quite a bit less bust than my other drawings so far, but I really wanted to emphasize her facial expression and super-pear shape. I hope it lives up to that ideal!

Thank you! I have such a big problem with doing good backgrounds... I guess I just don't have the knack for it. I should maybe go out and take some reference photos or something. Have any suggestions?

I'm not quite the expert myself with backgrounds. I've seen other people using reference photos (pictures of forests, cities, etc.) and just changing the filter and texture of it, but that's really all I can tell you.
