Edit: For all of you who want to know, the book is about vampires, perhaps that is the expression of morbid fascination?

We did get quite a few weird looks from our friends, but most others thought it was just cool. One kid asked if he could have the sword, and the librarians tried to guess what we were. I hadn't known that pointy ears are characteristic of so many species. One of the librarians guessed fairies, my friend jokingly called us trolls, but no one guessed elf. Oh well.

Really. I guess when people think elf they think short santa-helpers. (They should get it though, Lord of the Rings, Eragon, tall elves are not exclusive to Zelda)
The average adult can't guess what my costumes are. (when I dressed up as pokemon they were clueless) but most can figure out that we're warrior elves. That's why my audience is online.

Unfortunately, my library doesn't contain any Legend of Zelda books or comics. No, this is a book about vampires.
