Princess Celestia of Equestria and Queen Rosedust of Flutter Valley catch one another up on news while sharing some of Rosedust's rosehip wine.Done for MLP ATG Alumni 's week 57 theme: A light pony. Celestia is Light in terms of her powerset, Rosedust is light in terms of weight, and they're both "Light Is Good" characters.

I like this, you got the anatomy on both pretty well. What I will ask is if it was an intentional choice to make Celestia more G1. You got the detailing on her perfect, but her physique and facial structure is reminiscent of the first gen ponies.
Also, it's little things like the bottle: you've got the plane lined up well with both ponies situated well along the same line, but with the lack of a background for reference, it looks like the bottle and Rosedust's glass are levitating slightly.
All in all a light little pic on... well, light! Keep it up!

I did indeed intentionally make Celestia G1-style. When I have two ponies from different gens in the same drawing I prefer they be in the same style.
