That's one of the steps to being an artist: copying other art. No art is original now a days. Copying art from a pro actually helps to better understand figure, line, style, etc. Don't be ashamed. Another good way to improve is get some tracing paper, and trace over a favorite drawing. Slowly, you begin to understand form, style, etc. Once you do that, start learning how to Figure Draw real live people.
Also, since you didn't draw the face, don't be afraid to make mistakes--it's part of the learning process. You have to make mistakes before you can improve. Try drawing lighter so that when you mess up, you can easily erase the boo-boos.
Don't worry about the copyright thing, as long as you don't sell recreated art and claim it as your own, doing this without including the copyright info is okay. Lol

wow. my sister recently got the hyrule historia, i got the chance to look in it once, by asking it with my sweetest voice and puppy eyes.

You know... I actually like it without the face. It gives it that sense that he has to go battle in the unknown. If he had te ace, it would give it too much detail and also we would look at like any other picture of link. I say well done good sir. Well done.

Its good, I see exactly what scene its from, so thats great! I usually miss out limbs coz of laziness or .... nope, just laziness, so hahaha yeah proportions for features are hard sometimes, right? especially the face. Good job!
