Gasp, I updated! Sorry I've been away so long everyone. Making a baby has taken a lot out of me. Luckily I am half way done with it and my little girl will be here in four more months.
This illustration has taken me a long time to do. Longer than normal, I think. Due to the long periods of time in between sessions. Though, I am happy with how it came out.
I know that Alice drawings usually have the girl with a blue dress but I thought, "what the heck, why not break that rule and give her a purple dress.
". I hope you guys like it, and I will try not to be away for so long next time.

That's nice to hear. I'm glad. I had lots of fun creating an original look for her. It's hard to do something different when there is a set look to a character.

Yeah, it isn't easy to do outfit designs for characters if the originals are already great.
I've recently done more original designs for two of my own characters to suit them more than what I've orignally been drawing them in.

I think I see what they were saying now about the wrists. But there is only one distracting thing about it. The left wrist is almost twice as wide as the right one. If the left one was slightly smaller it would be more balanced. But other than that it looks good. I think the one thing that does bug me a bit is the hair. I don't mind the shadows used to give it that sense of depth and detail. But I think it can use a bit more longer flowing lines through it.
The other suggestion I have is that her face needs more shadow across it. It looks like there is some on the right side of her face. But it's pretty faint in comparison to the way you did the shadows across the rest of her skin. It's hard to describe how to do it. But I would say at least a little more around the eyes. To make her face look a little less flat.
I'm only saying all this since you did want more advice on such things

Ya know whats funny. The comment about the lighting that was made was to put the sun in the image..... on the other side of her to establish that at the lighting. It wouldn't have worked.. but see, darkening something is an easy fix. It doesn't take much and it's not offensive or mean to say so.
The wrists... are mine. I used my webcam to get the look not much to change there.

I understand that. I was just pointing out that the wrist on the left was wider than the one on the right. So it made it look different by comparison. But it is rather minor that I don't think its a serious problem.
And at least the lighting remark might be of some help

No lines! >.< I think that would be the hardest thing to do. It takes forever for me to finish something with no lines lol. But since your awesome im sure you can manage
