tegaki commission for ! his two characters looking at a floating city . i took a lot of creative license on this xD just adjusting colors and composition constantly. it took longer than i had wanted... but this is life when drawing on tegaki at times xP everything is on one layer, and theres no options to cut/paste/resize, so it can be time-consuming when you dont get it exactly right the first time . this went through a lot of versions... mostly to figure out the exact right color. started off with pure blue sky and green grass, but that never seems to work for me xD so i shook things up a bit and made the landscape more dramatic for the sake of composition and color. i love to have warm hues meet cool hues :V and weird sunsets with solar pillars above the sun. i thought a pillar here was cool xD makes the floating city be more epic. i play enough Tales to know how to draw floating cities 8D the grass ended up mostly golden but green edges because it just looked interesting x) and an old wheel was added for more balance and to make it seem more "steampunk" like the story is supposed to be.

im rather satisfied with this, except for the fact that it makes me taste Skittles just by looking at it o_O interesting challenge piece, though x) im glad i did it. thanks for the commish
