SO YEAH, we're coming up on the newest Sentai after Kyoryuger which is Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger.

I've had about a month since I saw the suits, their mecha, and weapons.

Here's my thoughts:
I still don't like the suits. It's like the Dinothunder suits - Too much color, not enough white or other colors to balance it out.

The train theme for the suits is cool/Especially since I'm getting a locomotive vibe from Red here. And yeah, we're not going on Ranger color this time. We're instead doing Ichigo/1, Nigo/2, San/3, Yon/4, and Go/5, which is very interesting for a Sentai team to go by number instead of color.

The morpher is cool, though a bit bulky for my tastes. Basically, think of the GoBusters' Morphing Brace with the GB-Custom visor attached onto it and that's basically the bulk of the TokkyuChanger.

The weapons kinda suck for me. The main side-arm is basically id the WizarSwordGun & the SPD Delta-Enforcer did the DBZ Fusion Dance. The weapons for the team cannon? COME ON, they either ripped off or homages Go-Onger when making those. Heck, even the combined blaster looks like the Super Highway Buster to me.

Also, I saw a pic of the main mecha for the show: I HATE THE LOOK. The toy is even worse. The ONLY thing I like about the mech is the head because that looks awesome. Everything else? PITIFUL. Even the Mecha's sword either rips off or homages the KanKan-Bar from Go-Onger.

So, for now, I'm not liking Tokkyuger. I'll give it 3 episodes before I write it off. But it's not looking good so far.
