For the sake of those who ask, it's an electric violin. And yes, it's a frame, he was really playing, and the melody was very audible. I have photographed him four times, twice backstage+concert and twice for my personal work and his promo. Thank you

Just now I realised how damn stupid I am.

This picture is fantastic. Because I can really feel the passion and hear his intense violin music (I've never listened to his violin plays, but through this picture I assume that it is). Absolutely stunning and beautiful.
This is the first picture that seriously touched my heart.

Love the electric!! Mine's not *nearly* as cool... *pout* And yes, it is quite audible, contrary to popular belief, it is not "silent". They are still violin strings on there, just no body and no sound post to make it louder. <3 <3 <3

I have a violin similar to that one! I still have to learn how to play it though.. I'm very awkward with a violin in hand.

This Image is stunning the angle of the violin and light entering it is fantastic. Aswell as the movement in his hair gives the image so much of a dramatic feel I love this so much.

I remember seeing him playing with X in Vancouver at Queen Elizabeth theater last summer. I'll never forget that experience! X is one of my favorite bands I grew up with for the past 6 years. He played the beginning of Dahlia on violin while Yoshiki played the piano.

I liked the previous photo of Sugizo and this one is just as awesome. I love the intensity of the moment you have captured; he seems quite involved in the music he is playing
