THIS is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for for my book cover art. It's a psychological horror set in an old apartment building and I don't want to go into spoilers or anything here, but I'm looking for an artist for the cover work and this is exactly the type of thing I'd envisioned... would you be interested in sending me your rates? Its really quite creepy I think. The first person perspective is interesting as well. I like it a lot.

The hand that projects forward, alight and looking; the door's edge, aligning with the frame of the work, draws me into his perspective. His hand becomes mine, his wonder, his fear, his search - my own.
With the lighter's flame as his guide, he is looking. For what, I cannot know. Perhaps, though, it is the search of the heavens - with those thunderous bolts of sight that come unexpectedly, and depart without trace. Those brilliant, resounding manifestations of purpose that spawn from shrouded origins, desperately seeking to illuminate what it cannot - itself. Myself.
