Born into a wealthy family, Carrie lived a luxurious childhood in the heart of Medorian City. However, as she got older, she became fascinated with the idea of exploring the parts of Zendara she had never seen before. Though her family was against this notion and tried to keep her in the city, she decided to leave anyway and snuck out one night. Her travels soon took her to the Avira Desert in Socorro, where she made her way to the oasis town of Keptu's Spring. She was instantly enticed by the town's resort-like atmosphere, despite being located in the middle of Zendara's harshest region. She quickly called it home, and after only a short time, she ended up becoming good friends with the town's brazen leader, Asper, who shared all the privileges of her luxurious life with her.
