This is how I imagined Menolly in Dragonsong. I gave her a strong chin cause in the book, if i remember correctly, shes mistaken for a boy cause shes so tall. of course shes also got beauty in her hair, with her tail wrapped around her neck. Its just a rough sketch at this point, but I'm gonna color it when I've got the time (gotta clean up the lines also o.o')by the way, if you haven't read Dragonsong or Dragonsinger I strongly suggest that you do. Some of my favorite books, those.

I don't usually end up Faving stuff from my Pern group but this just blows me out of the water. One of the best Menolly's I've ever seen. Very nicely stuff!

I personally found her a little bit Sueish for my tastes, but then again, it was written before there really was "Sue". But everyone's got their own favorites, and regardless, the art is really great. Looking forward to seeing it refined and finished. ^_^
