I hate explaining, it get's so boring.Alright, so, this is Zen on the verge of her death. It is something spiritral in the land where she is from, and instead of your corpse rotting in the soil, you simply dissapear from the planet and dispersed to another. In the image, she's slowly regaining strength to come back alive, but she doesn't quite make it in time. Therefore she remains a ghost, and because of her strange abnormalty, the elements chose her to become a goddess of Death.
At the moment, she had no idea what her goal was going to be, nor has she any idea that she was heading down into the most grotesque, yet beautiful places there was in the universe.

This is what i see without making reference to the description, though it doesn't seem too farfetched either heh. Lovely picture and background history! You could write a book about the fates of Zen added with illustrations like this
