A random scribble i drew on my desk when i was bored one day. I really didn't want to rub it off so i took a picture of it (mind you i still havn't gotten rid of it).the g-cleft in this is also used in Music Lino[link]
One of my random moments, the rose along with the treble clef has a special meaning for me. Not sure what you'll all think of it but i hope you can take something from it.
I truly believe peace between nations and cultures is possible and that perhaps music will be what finally brings us together. Music is one thing that is found in all cultures and i have always been amazed at how you can understand what a song is trying to express even if you've never heard it before and is in another language.
A bit of food for you mind. Hope you enjoy.
UPDATE: I'm really sorry to everyone out there but I've had to add a water mark to the piece because some disrespectful people have been claiming it to be their work.

Actually it was just plain lead pencil. The gold came out by surprise when i was fooling around with it in photoshop.

well as a composition student we're meant to explore everything so not many of us have a set style. I'm a big fan of minimalism myself, i've done a lot of research on steve reich and while my friends think i'm crazy i'm happy to admit i luv john cage too.
Flute and voice? does that mean you're trying any of the extended techniques for flute that combine the two? You can get some really crazy cool effects. i've always found it interesting how most flautist are also singers.

Minimalism is awesome. As a wind player, I get to hear some... definitely NON-minimalistic pieces, some of which I like, some of which I don't. So far, I've only found a few minimalist ones that I don't like.
Combining both flute and voice into that sing-play technique is something I'm working on (not quite successful yet), but yes, it is a cool effect. I'm mostly just keeping them separate, and accompanying choirs on flute and singing in band when they need a female vocalist. The potential for more is there, but I'm still trying to figure that out.
