Wasn't sure what category to put this in but it works.So I did something digital for a change! Sorry it's so dark, I brightened it as much as I saw fit, but it is a nighttime piece after all!
This is a kind of personal pic for me. For a couple years now, whenever I'm down, I imagine Chocolate (the quagsire, as my pet?) sitting with me and saying "nuoh... nuoh..." over and over, in a sort of lullaby. It's a little childish but everyone's got their comforts, right? It's a dream of mine to someday have a giant quagsire plush-pillow made for me, to comfort me whenever I feel sad. c:
I drew a human for once and I don't hate it. There are some errors and such but overall I'm happy with this.
Edit: Oh and I guess I should point out that Nuoh is Quagsire's japanese name.

If I had better sewing skills (which I'm not terrible, but I'm not great either, but hey I'm working on it) I'd make you a quagsire plushie just because this pic is so darn sad. And I personally hate it when I'm down and there's nothing that will cheer me up. At least you have Nuoh Nuoh!

i never sewed a thing in my life about a month back i wound up in the hospital and my mom suggested i take up a hobby, so I thoughtt sewing but I never really to it, but I love pokemon, I cant guarantee it'd be good but its a free be on my part.

okay so like, I was going to comment on this a long time ago... but I suck at life.
I always want to leave long ass awesome comments, but the only things that really came to mind when I was commenting on this before made me sound really silly. ;3;
I don't want to be one of those lame commenters that go "cute" or "aww"
I really love just how nice the lighting is. The emotion really flows out in this picture. I'm glad you're happier now though. :C

Since you called for critique...
I really love the shadows on Quagsire and your trainer, but the harshness of the light on the bed and the floor and the back of the trainer's head seems out of place. First, it detracts from the melancholy and lonely feeling of the piece. Second, it seems too bright for natural light. I assume it's supposed to be light from the moon, but if everything else is THAT dark, the moonlight shouldn't cause the light to be so strong . (Also, the cast shadow on the floor, which I'm assuming is supposed to be from the girl's leg, seems off. From that shadow, the light seems to be coming from the top right; but based on the way the light hits the girl's hair, it appears to be coming from the top left instead.)
And being really picky about this: what is the swirl of color on the left of the page? I've been staring at it for a while and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be some type of object, or if it's just a mark on the page.

Ah, I think you're right! It is very bright, too bright to be moonlight isn't it? I'm glad you pointed that out. The cast shadow on the floor is from the girl's head. I would say the light is coming in almost parallel to the direction she's facing?
The swirl on the left is meant to be a nightlight, which I admit I hadn't thought about too much and there probably shouldn't be a swirl at all. But I put it there to signify that the blue light casted on the girl was coming from something over there.

I'm not making enough to save anything, but it's enough to keep my bills paid for months to come. in the mean time I'm looking for an actual job D: I'm usually pretty good with commissions and getting them done in a timely fashion, but for the past week I've been sick. DX I Hardly ever draw anything else when I have commissions waiting, I always feel guilty when I do.. (I felt kind of guilty when drawing this picture even, but I felt like I needed to get it out..) FFF

I adore the story behind this so much. It's adorable, and not childish at all. While it might not be a Pokemon or anything, I have a stuffed orange cat that I pretty much do the same thing with. I got him for Christmas a few years back because I didn't have a cat after having a cat my whole life. His name is Cheddars (lol). When I'm sad I imagine him purring. It sounds lame, but everyone does have their comforts.
This drawing is amazingly adorable though. <3
