Yes, the wolf has gills and webbed feet.

These two are characters none of you would know yet - a Winged Warrior Wolf named Bird, and an elf named Tick. I know, Bird doesn't have wings despite the species name because she lost them. When they appear in my stories, it'll explain better.
It will also explain why she killed Tick.
