Personality: Al is sly, street smart and a lady's man. Although he is attentive to women by nature, he finds acting 'proper' difficult when he suddenly flirts around when April's in the cafe to get her attention. The tactic always fails and it usually leads to Jim's 'date-schedule' getting full by the end of his shift. He plays them out of frustration.

In short, he's stupidly lovesick

Family & Background:
Al was close with his mom who died when he was 10, due to domestic violence. He promised her that he would always be kind to women. His dad was the chief of police in Pennsylvania and was hardly at home.
After his mother's death, they moved near an orphanage where he met April and May.During the first week of infection, his father died on the job. Since then he traveled with the twins, acting as their body guard.
