While in Australia in the first three mouths an Amiibo is out its hard to get them; however afterwards they end up ever where in different stores that it doesn't feel like a rush to get them all at once.

I got up at 2am, to drive an hour, to sit in a parking lot until around 3:30 am, to stand in line for 3 hours, to speed walk to get a Jigglypuff, to drive to the next store, to wait for an hour and a half to get a Greninja;
so yeah, guy got it a lot easier across the pond XP
