Resting the wreath at the base of the statue, Andrew stepped back to Buck to join him in looking up at the structure.

"That's quite the big bird there, Buck," Andrew chuckled lightly, still in awe at the size of the statue. "Can't imagine what Daius would look like if they weren't a statue. I don't even think you're half their size, Buck."

Buck bopped Andrew on the head with the underside of his beak at that comment.

"Aye I know you're big for your type of stryx, ya needn't remind me," Andrew replied. "Though I'm wondering now if we're a bit too early. Seems there's no one else around and as far as I can tell, we've brought the only decoration so far."

Just then a cry of a stryx echoed out from east of the shrine, drawing Buck and Andrew's gaze in that direction. Though they could barely make out the shapes on the ground, the shadows in the sky could only be one thing.

Andrew laughed and patted Buck on the back. "Well looks like we are just early. Guess we're pretty eager since it's our first time. Come on, Buck, lets see if we can't meet some new folks."
