When I stumbled upon this stock [link] from I know I have to make something out of it. So I went ahead and created afterlife. It turned out a lot different than what I had in mind, but I like it just as much. Hope you like it too!The reason it is called "afterlife" is because I was listening to the soundtrack from Mass Effect 2 when your character goes in the afterlife club in Omega. I put it on loop and it pretty much guided me through the whole creation. Art and music goes hand in hand.

can i ask how did you blend brushes with the skin colour? did you use normal photoshop blending options??

I didn't blend the brushes with the skin, I used masking to do the effect. I masked the whole face, then revealed it back with custom brushes. Does that answer your question?

haha im not that good with photoshop ^ ^ im just good with illustrator im trying to learn photoshop and i dont know much like you so i was just asking .. actually i had to make my portfolio so i wanted to add these effects on the cover with my picture but i think its still too difficult for me so i think i will use illustrator instead and design something else ... thanks for telling me.
