Description
A while back I made a concept of the USS Enterprise from the Star Trek franchise. I made quite different from the old models because I wanted to have it be more advanced and abstract getting the inspiration from the Discovery series. For starters the black sphere in the center is a stable singularity that is used as an alternative method of FTL travel than warp drives by folding time and space, while the ship is encased in a “tesseract” as it makes it journey. Another idea for this concept is that ships like it could fuse with other ships to form a bigger vessel with the use of nanomachines that is imbued to the ship, giving another reason for the Federation ships having the two separated impulse engines. I’m not sure if I want to continue this project by improving the design but I just wanted to show how I feel the third millennium’s Federation starships could be like in any reality whether canon or fanon.
