Description As most of you would know I love drawing mermaids of real fish........well I love my fishies at home more than any others so I thought ,why not do them!? Now I think of all my fish as males, but since I cant draw guys very well, I made mermaids......maybe they can be girlfriends. I used my fish's personalities (yes, fish do have them) for this picture...let me explain

Ok my oldest and favourite fish is Eberus (we call him Ebee) a salmon tailed catfish - the black and gold one. Being the biggest he eats the most and when he finds the others eating food he dives in and takes it, thus the reason why he's pushing the other away.

The one being pushed is Tulio - Now Tulio is aa eel-tail catfish and he used to be small but is rapidly catching up to Ebee, and he wants to be boss, so here he is trying desperately to get to Ebee's food.

In the background are Cat and Dog - the orange and black clown loaches. They fret around the tank, alwasy nervous and treat Ebee as if he is a god. They get all excited whenever he comes near them, and it's a huge deal for them to venture anywhere into his presence.

Lastly is Pluto - the blue Gourami. He doesn't have a huge amount of personality except that he isn't bothered by anyone and no one is bothered by him. He gets on well with Ebee coz they are the oldest, and most people think he is the prettiest.........( but i still love Ebee more than anything)

So yes, the story of my fish......hope you like!

Hah! THats a great idea, and some great mermaids too. THe foodfight is a funny concept, especially if the fish really do that in your tank. The loach with the hand in its mouth makes me laugh. hehee.
