August 31st 2009 is Hatsune Miku's second anniversary, she has also turned 18 years old. She was released back in Aug 31st 2007, as a 16 year old.Spent about a week doing this...
Today I had to rush and finish it before it reached 1st of September, had only a few minutes to spare.

It's so awesome to see you draw them all together! It just makes this even more colorful and cheerful! ^^ I love how Miku just looks absolutely adorable here! You truly captured her happiness in this!!

I love the vocaloid family so much! and this is how I picture them together, all smiling happily, getting along with each other really well.
Originally I was only going to draw Miku like that with a cake... but that would make her look lonely and depressed.. So I had to liven it up with the other vocaloids. I too think she looks so adorable like that.
And LEn... I wonder what's going thru his head while staring at that cake...

You're welcome! Yes, It was such a great idea to include the vocaloid family in this, so Miku wouldn't look lonely or depressed. Nothing is better than a Vocaloid party for a Vocaloid's birthday. XD
Maybe Len is dazzled by the music notes and strawberries on the bottom or wondering if the cake is chocolate flavored? XDD
