Thank you! I am still working on perfecting it though. There are a few things I would like to improve on when it comes to line art and shading. I simply love the look of cell-shading but it is near impossible for me to do. I always end up butchering it. XP So I guess I'll just work on my soft and realistic shading techniques for now.

That is true. I think I just like the crisp, clean look it gives the piece. I feel like it not only gives more detail, but more depth as well. Of course, it's the same for most shading techniques.

It's the same with me. I think I tried it a few times back when I used a mouse instead of a tablet. Some came out looking alright while others were just... Ew. I was also new to shading so it's understandable. There is always room for improvement, no matter your level. I really like my technique, it is just sometimes I rush it a little too much, I guess? If I spend more time on it, I am sure it would come out looking much better.

Omg, the mouse... I honestly have no idea as to how I was able to complete anything when I first started drawing with a mouse! I had always messed around with Microsoft Paint as a kid, I mean who hasn't? But when I saw my older sister doing digital art on the computer, I got really serious into it. I would watch her everyday, trying to figure out what she was doing and how she was doing it. When I got an old computer from one of my sisters, I downloaded the same art program she used (GIMP) and traced over some of my traditional pieces. The line art alone took me about a week to complete between school and chores at home. Unfortunately, since it was an old computer, it didn't last very long so I ended up saving to get a new one.
Then I heard about the drawing tablets. I think I did research on them for about a week before deciding to get the Wacom Bamboo Create. Everything just became SO much easier and quicker to do! Sadly, GIMP won't function correctly with my tablet (think my version is out of date) so I had to get Sai. I tried My Paint too but it was a little confusing to get the hang of so I stick mainly with Sai. I am currently messing around with Photoshop, but it's a lot more complicating than My Paint so... Sai is still my #1 choice.

Honestly, I love your line art and style! It's adorable! Keep on practicing and experimenting with new techniques, you'll continue to improve with each piece! BTW, I really need to commission you sometime! XD
