Description
The time has finally come. Thorax flew as fast as he could to get Starlight to the hospital. As soon as they arrived, the nurses rushed towards the couple with a wheelchair for Starlight to sit in. The nurses then hurried her to the nearest empty room so the doctors could perform the delivery.

With Thorax pushing the wheelchair, Starlight was screaming in agonizing pain and tears flowing down her cheeks. Everyone could hear the blood-curdling screams she made throughout the halls of the building. The nurses finally made it to the room, where she was lifted into a hospital bed.

Thorax tried to calm her down by gently rubbing the top of her hoof. "Breathe Starlight, Just Breathe" said Thorax. Starlight, however, was in too much pain to do a calm response. Instead, she just shouted, "Get Out! GET OUT! GET OUT!!!" Thorax just backed away, dropping his ears down. He stepped out of the delivery room, and sat on a bench in front of the door, waiting patiently until it was all over. It won't be long now.

2 Hours Later...

Word has gotten out that Thorax was at the Ponyville Hospital, so Twilight and the gang went over to see what has been going on. They find Thorax sleeping on the bench in the hallway, bags underneath his eyes and back legs twitching. Twilight shouted, "Thorax!", causing him to jolt his head up in surprise. "Twilight?", he said groggy-like. "What are you doing here?" "We heard that you and Starlight were here. We wanted to make sure everything was okay." Twilight replied.

Pinkie Pie jumps in front of Thorax, squealing and shaking him back and forth. "WHERE IS IT?!? WHERE'S THE BABY?! I NEED TO SEE IT!!" "Pinkie, the baby isn't here yet" Rarity said as she walked up to the door to Starlight's room. In doing so, Pinkie deflated onto the floor. "But don't you worry. It'll be here soon" "Applejack and I was making clothes for the baby. We just hope it will fit it." said Fluttershy as she and Applejack walked up with some homemade socks and a shirt, hoof stitched.

Rainbow Dash also came in with something to give the baby. "What's that ya got there Dash?" Applejack asked. "I'm giving it my old Daring Do doll. I won't be needing it anymore, so I thought I'd give it to the kid." Rarity interrupted. "Wasn't that thing in your dirty clothes basket for half a month?" "*scoffs* FYI, Rarity, I have washed it. I'm not giving something smelly away to a kid. What do you think I am some kind of a jerk?" Everyone looked at Rainbow Dash, with raising eyebrows. "D-don't look into it..."

The doctor opened the door, looking for Thorax. "Mr.Thorax?" He looked at the doctor nervously, scared as to what the doctor was going to say. "Y-yes?" he asked shaking. "It's a boy." By hearing that, his scared expression shifted into a face filled with happiness. A..A BOY?! He thought to himself. "Come in." Thorax looked back at Twilight. "Go ahead, we'll meet you in." And with that, Thorax walked inside Starlight's room, where he saw her cradling a bundle of blue blankets, and her bed was surrounded by the nurses taking a glimpse at her new child.

Thorax walked up to Starlight as she was still sweating. "Are you alright? How are you feeling?" Starlight replied smiling. "Yeah, I'm just fine. It wasn't as bad as I thought. It was kinda a piece of cake.... until they realized the baby had horns. I'll uh..tell you about it when we get home." Thorax looks down to see the bundle move a bit. "Would you like to see him?" He nodded his head quickly, then moved over to get a better look at his son. Starlight removed the blanket and revealed the baby's face.

Thorax began crying, overwhelmed with joy. "That's your son Thorax." Starlight said chocking up. Thorax wiped a tear off of his face and sniffed. "No, that's OUR son..."
