Description
Here is a sprite of an express coach in the livery used on the LNER train, the Coronation. It was inaugurated in 1937 to mark the coronation of King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth. It would leave King's Cross at 4:00 PM, and arrive in Edinburgh at 10:00 PM. It was pulled by A4 Pacific's, wearing the Garter Blue livery, which was adopted by the whole class. The train was based on the other famous LNER express service, the Silver Jubilee.
