Village of Pulau Papan, Togean Islands, Sulawesi, IndonesiaThe Bajau are one of the last (and the largest) sea gypsies communities in the world, living aboard their wooden perahu (houseboats). Their lifestyle is based on fishing and trading (especially sea cucumber). Nowadays, a large part of the Bajau are semi-nomadic. Their wooden houses are built directly in the water. The Bajau are living in total symbiosis with the sea and children learn how to swim at a very young age.

Sun and heat always makes people feel happy. Maybe this i all we need. A spot under the Sun! Keep on spreading your love about those people Zephyra! Sometimes those people come wounded to our Europe for a better future and we close them the door...

It's kinda fatalist and generalizing - "those people" outside our Western world do not ALL need a "better future"! Of course some countries / populations are facing a really bad situation, but not all of them! And they often have a way better life than us on many levels you know
